Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native, born in poor conditions in September 16th the year 1958. Her mother was an unsuccessful schoolteacher and actor, made a living selling automobiles while her father was an automobile salesman. Jennifer is the eldest of her four siblings, attended many theater shows with her mother. Jennifer was impressed. Jennifer's parents split at the age five. Jennifer spent the bulk of her childhood within British Columbia, after her mother moved there with her four kids. Jennifer wasn't a student however, as a child she was extremely artistic. Jennifer was often the victim of bullying as a result of her time in Canada's schools. Her interest began to wane at the theatre during the time she was in high school. Her mother encouraged her to play additional roles in different productions. Her children were all encouraged to pursue a passion for the arts. Immediately after that she started doing something.
