The post shared the news of her daughter's death and stated that her 18-year old daughter was killed in the shot of a gun. In her blog post, Erica Robinson uploaded a photo of t-shirt with the picture she had taken with her late father. With matching red shirts, the two women seemed to be seated close to each other. Officials of the Jackson Police Department have confirmed that Gatlin's death occurred at Barnes Street. The incident occurred at around 8:40 PM Thursday night.
